Course Description:
A comprehensive course offering First Aid and CPR skills. It includes the latest First Aid and CPR guidelines as well as the use of AED. Meets federal and a variety of provincial/territorial regulations for standard First Aid and CPR.
Who Should Attend:
- No prerequisites required
- Anyone who needs training due to work requirement (for workplaces with 5+ workers)
- Anyone seeking more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home and in the community
Recognition:
- Recognized by Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB)
- Fulfills all WSIB Regulation 1101
- Meets Ontario Health and Safety (OHS) regulations
Certification:
3 years certification in Standard First Aid and CPR- C/AED
1 year certification in BLS
All participants having a current Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certificate can recertify once within 3 years before taking the full course again.
